It also provides streamlined access to travel information on the 511 web site and the 511 phone system (“the Information”). The phone system uses the registrant’s telephone numbers saved in his or her account to provide the immediate access to travel information. Your use of the MY 511 service (the “Service”) constitutes your acceptance of, and compliance with, the following Terms and Conditions. If you have not already done so, please take some time to familiarize yourself with these terms. Note that these Terms and Conditions may change from time to time and it is your responsibility to periodically return to view updates. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes to the Terms and Conditions constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Reserved Rights and Grant of Limited License
The Information provided through the Service and all rights to it are owned by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC). Content available through MY 511 is for individual use only and is not available for re-sale or re-use without the express written consent of MTC.

Upon registration, users of the Service are granted non-exclusive, non-transferable limited license to access and use the Information for personal purposes only (and specifically excluding any commercial use).

Service Mark
MY 511 is a service mark registered to MTC in the State of California. The unauthorized use of MY 511 is strictly prohibited.

Not an Endorsement
The mention of another agency or entity in relation to any Information or the MY 511 Service does not constitute an endorsement, sponsorship or recommendation of that entity or its product or service.

Disclaimer
MTC does not guarantee the reliability, accuracy, quality, timeliness, usefulness, adequacy, completeness or suitability of the Information. You should not assume that your use of the Service will be error free or that the Service will operate without interruption.

Registration
As a consideration of your use of the Service, you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current, and complete information as required by the Site's registration forms (the "Registration Data") and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete. You assume all risk arising from your use of the Service, and/or use of the Information retrieved from or sent to you from the Service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MTC and its licensors shall not be responsible or otherwise liable for any claim, expense, damage, loss, liability, obligation, demand or action, regardless of the nature of the cause of the claim, demand or action, for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or any other damages arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use the Information or the Service, or in reliance on the Information, including any loss of use, lost data, lost business profits, business interruption, personal injury, or any other financial loss, even if MTC, its contractors, licensors or agents have been informed of the possibility of such loss.

Choice of Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Through the use of the Service you expressly agree that the exclusive jurisdiction for any claim or action arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Information or Service shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of California.
